Getting Started

After you have selected and purchased your Care Plan, we will ask you to provide us with some details about your site so that we can properly manage it. This helps us connect to your site in order to deliver our services to you. We keep your credentials private and encrypted at all times.


At the moment, payment can only be made by EFT Bank Transfer. However we are always adding options to make the user experience easier for you.

You choose how often you are billed and how often you pay (eg. we can invoice you for a year but payments are spread monthly). You’ll need to cover the cost of the upcoming month before we proceed with maintenance, but other than that we are flexible to make it as easy as possible for you.

NOTE: When selecting the Yearly option, you’ll be billed and need to cover the full amount immediately before maintenance will begin. 

Yes, we have a 30-day money-back satisfaction guarantee. We want you to love our service, so if you feel like you haven’t received the service you signed up for within the first 30 days, you will get your money back. Let’s make sure we are right for each other.

Your Support

To make sure that no unauthorised access is given, only approved persons may request information or services. Furthermore, only the default account holder can add additional approved persons.

Our support is email based, we will send you a monthly report when maintenance has been completed on your site. For any requests or enquires throughout the cycle, simply send us an email at your convenience from any email address associated with an approved person.

Before we complete any work on your site, we will first make sure that we are extremely clear on what’s required, so for fastest and quality results, make sure you are as clear as possible.

FLIC sites help you protect your site with the best security that is avaible with your hosting provider (SSL certificates, malware scanning etc), in addition we can always recommend more strict security measures. Common issued are also manually check each maintenance cycle. In the uncommon event that your site is hacked, it becomes our top priority to fix this for you, and will discuss your options for moving forward ASAP.

Not at all, we backup before and after we update your site, so the site is immediately rolled back to the state prior to the update and we will investigate why the error is occurring. From there, you’ll be notified of the issue. Most issues are free of charge to fix, however more time consuming issues may be billable. At all points, we will keep you informed on what your available options are.

If no issues arise from the unsupported plugin that are crucial to your site, it remains unchanged. If this plugin does however cause an issue that causes the site to break, then FLIC will recommend a better alternative that is up-to-date.

Provided that the backup is available, yes. Depending upon your chosen care plan, we will backup up your site at different intervals (see above for details). We are happy to restore your site free of cost on your request, however continued use of this feature may incur additional fees.

Additional Features

At this time, we do not. For urgent requests, you should state that in your email and/or call during business hours for the quickest response.

We do not, we only do what we believe we can do better than the rest and that is not web hosting. We strongly recommend all our customers sign up or transfer to Siteground WordPress Hosting as they do it better than anyone else we know.

We do not provide SEO or digital marketing services, however we can provide tips and tool recommendations within WordPress. We are here to help with setting them up as well.

At this point, we do not. If you have a multisite installation then please contact us to discuss the needs of your site as we may able to accomodate this on a case-by-case basis.

Yes. Once you have an account with us, caring for additional installations is easy to do. You may purchase another care plan for additional website installations using your same account.

Yes. Once the SSL certificate is purchased (most often through your hosting provider), your site will need to be configured to use it properly. We can assist you in both these actions.

For those on our recommended Siteground WordPress Hosting, a free SSL certificate is available with your hosting plan. An SSL certificate is a requirement for sites that are accepting payments online, such as an e-commerce store.
